The ESCO Model

The ESCO model is an energy efficiency service offering where the client is billed based on energy savings generated by implementing the investment. The model involves the selection, implementation, and financing of investments to optimise energy consumption and signing the contract to share the savings generated by the investments.  ESCO stands for Energy Service Company.

Application of the ESCO model:

  • Thermal insulation upgrades of utility or office buildings on PWiK premises.
  • Renewable energy systems (PV systems, heat pumps).
  • Upgrade or replacement of energy-consuming devices in the water or wastewater treatment plant.
